Pickup

Pickup starts at 12:00 PM and goes until 12:15 PM. Cars line up along the road next to the sidewalk and grassy area that leads to the front of the building. You will be required to have your name sign showing in your car.

  • Early Pickup: If you need to pick up your child before normal pick up time, please let us know in the morning so we can have them ready for you.  You will need to park and walk up to the camp office and sign them out. We kindly ask that you do not pick up your camper unexpectedly 30 minutes before normal pick up. This time is very busy.

Late Pickup Policy

Pickup ends promptly at 12:15 PM. For every minute over 12:15 PM, a $1.00 charge per camper will be charged to the account. This will be automatically charged to the card on file, but can also be paid by cash at time of pickup.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • At Camp Compass, our desire is for every camper to have fun, build friendships, and experience the love of Jesus in everything we do. We strive to create an environment that is both safe and enjoyable for everyone. The following outlines Camp Compass’ approach to discipline and camper expectations.

    Every Camper Should Follow:

    1. Always listen to your camp leader.

    2. No rock or stick throwing.

    3. No swearing, name-calling, or unkind language.

    4. No hitting, pushing, or fighting.

    5. Keep your shoes on, unless specified by your leader.

    6. If there’s a problem, talk to your leader right away.

    7. Never walk off alone—your leader must always know where you are.

    8. Leave phones, gaming systems, and electronics at home.

    9. No drugs, alcohol, or weapons are ever permitted.

    10. Have fun and honor Jesus in everything you do!

    Minor Offenses

    • Misbehavior will first be corrected by a counselor. The camper will be reminded of the rule that was broken and asked to correct the behavior.

    • If behavior continues, the camper may sit out from the current or next activity for a short time. The leader will again explain what needs to change.

    • Continued issues may result in a supervised task with a counselor, and parents will be notified of the behavior and resolution.

    Strikes

    1. Verbal Warning – Camper is informed of the behavior and its seriousness. A verbal warning is documented and shared with parents.

    2. Written Warning – Camper loses camp privileges for a set time and walks alongside an assistant or director for guidance.

    3. Termination of Camp Participation – If serious or repeated misbehavior occurs, the camper may be asked not to return to camp.

    Severe Clause

Camp Compass reserves the right to skip or repeat any step in the disciplinary process based on the severity of the situation. Campers dismissed for any reason will not receive a refund of camp fees.

  • Where’s Lost & Found?

At the end of every camp day, all remaining camper gear is collected and put out the following morning at the front of the building by the drop off and sign in area.

Lost and found is bagged up for donation at the end of every week. Please let us know if you are missing supplies so we can separate it for you! Lost & found will be donated 1 week after the camp season ends.

  • T-shirts can be preordered before the camp season starts.  After the first day of camp you can no longer preorder when registering.

  • We understand schedules can be busy, but unfortunately, we’re not able to offer discounts or partial rates for campers who can’t attend the full week
